also will euro nv200 headlights fit the us models? if so they look waaay better with the black accents

The van looks good, however to say that people haven't been man enough is down right wrong.

Most of us use these vans as work vehicles and to date, there are no tires available to handle the loads we carry. Unfortunately, until then, we are stuck with the "C" tires that come in 15". Others of us are simply trying to keep the income stream coming in and the van is low on the totem pole.

Look into the load rating of those tires before you load it up too much!

Also can you turn you steering wheel all the way in each direction without rubbing? Do a slow turn steering all the way in each direction and listen for rubbing noise.

sorry about the whole man enough thing used to the bmw forum im (plus had a few beers before posting lol) on and i totally understand about using these for work thats what i use mine for and i have z rated tires on so they have a really stiff sidewall. these vans are only rated to take on 1500lbs and the vans are light and you have bling bling very heavy tahoes running on paper thing z rated tires and they seem to hold up ok. so i guess im the guinea pig here haha but so far so good i use mine to deliver and sell ad space in magazines so she gets her fair share of weight put in the back for many miles at a time. Yes i can turn my wheels all the way with no rubbing at all with some more room to spare!!!

Gonna do shadowline on the tailights and a little oaround the front blinkers to make it stand out a bit more and also gonna plastidip the grille flat black too!!!

What's the specs on the wheels, tires and where'd you find them?

I was looking at TireRack.com but they won't list anything over 15" for the van.
When my tires wear out, I hope there will be other options in terms of larger wheels available.

Also, the issue isn't the cargo space, but rather the weight of the vehicle itself too. Not a scientist here, but I imagine going up a tire size might increase the weight capability despite it not being a commercial Euro "C" load rating.
The American "E" load tires can't even come close to the Euro rating. Still amazes me that those dinky 15" donuts can handle the weight the engineers spec'ed them on this van.

i think the only reason tire rack wont show over 15" is because it is a "commercial" vehicle. I am VERY surprised to see 18" will fit ok!! I was thinking of 16" or 17"...hmmmmmm. Nice color choice btw....

yeah the 18s fit great!!! the size on it now is 235/40/r18 y speed rated tires and they can handle 1600lbs a piece and the the wheels are 5zigen pro racing 18x7.5 i think offset of +48mm and i love the look of them and just shadowlined the tails today doing the headlight accents and dipping the grill flat black tomorrow illget pics up asap. cant wait to go mad on the stereo on this thing next it has a decent stock setup but im wanting a few subs rear speakers and upgrade the front speakers and put in remote tweeters and alos put in a legit double din headunit. i think the new nissan versa uses the nv200 steering wheel and radio so good for us with more audio options. Im mostly doing all these little touches because im in it all day during the week and play with my bmws over the weekend

the tires on the wheels are bfg g forces as well thats what came with them they are pretty much garbage from being on a car with crap for an alignment and they have some dry rot so just gonna roll with them till they fully wear out. then im gonna put on some falken ziex ze-912s Im a big fan of falkens good tire for cheap with good warranty! I just wont tell them that they are going on a van lol

Have you had your speedometer adjusted?

Mine is off by 2-3 miles with the stock 15's. I would think bumping it up a size or two would make the speedo accurate. Curious too what your speedo reads.

my speedo is off but helps keep my warranty a little longer haha its about 4 mph off at 65 which is 69

Actually, the speed is accurate on the ECM. I have a scan gauge that shows actual miles being 2-3 mph accurate to the radar speed signs on the road. (as compared to the analog speedo reading)

cant that be corrected at dealer after wheels are installed?

Hi . How did you reprogram the TPMS on your new wheels? I called Tire Rack, and they wasn't sure as to how this is done. Thank You..:huh:

I just deal with the light on the dash for now cause I'm getting some new shoes for it soon when I do that I'll just eithe get new sensors or swap the sensors from my stock wheels but honestly the tire light doesn't bother me I'm thinking about just killing the power to the light in the dash

Hi ramze46. Your van looks awesome with your new tires/wheels. Anyway I read on Tirerack website that the stock sensors won't fit on wheels that they offer. You have to purchase a new set of tpms sensors for about $200.00. ( ouch)That and the fact that I can't find out how to reprogram them to the van keeps me from ordering a new set of wheels /tires. Factory ones are ugly with no options to upgrade. Seeing a picture of your van, makes me more itchy to make a purchase..
