I have to replace a damaged CVT pan for my 2017 nv200.
Does anyone know the amount of CVT fluid I should buy? 5Qt, 6Qt?

The manual specifies NS-3, but doesn't give a capacity. It refers readers to the DIY section that recommends going to a dealer.

I haven't dropped a pan on these yet. If I were to guess I'd say4- 5ish. I haven't dropped the pan on these things yet but have on tiny mitsubishi ones with the jatco cvt7 . I can only get 2.5 liters from the plug and under 4liters if pulling the entire pan.

I looked up 2013 specs. 8 5/8 us quarts. I assume that is total capacity going into a dry new case.

I replaced the damaged transmission pan and gasket a few days ago.
It required only 5 quarts of NS-3 fluid to reach the normal operating rages on the dipstick.
I'm monitoring the level.
