Well, went to the dealer to get my summer tires back on (O.E.M. 185/60R15C). Somehow, they screwed up the storage tags and this is what I ended up with.
Hey guys, just joined the forum all the way from South Africa! I have a nv200 panelvan as my daily runabout/work vehicle and today I decided to do something about these ghastly small wheels. Went with a 15"x7j rim with a 30mm offset from the local wheel shop and put perelli 195/60/ 15's on. She sits really nicely and I'm hugely happy with the stance. Much better than the 14s it came out with stock. Keep up with the great work on the forum!
Mine are installed in the aftermarket rims.
Tires set to 44psi and no issues unless it is below zero in the morning but goes off soon as tired warm up a bit.
We have been using Momo 17" wheels with 42 offset and 205 50 R17 for some time and like the ride and plenty of room. We are looking for a more off road wheel tire combo and should have something in the next few weeks to post.
I was doing some browsing and found that the 2004-2010 Mitsubishi COLT 16" Alloys may be an option for the NV200, the dimensions are almost spot on, the centre bore is slightly bigger but an adapter ring could be optained for support, the bolts/lugs are slightly different to but again i'm sure they could fit, they look ok too.
Guys I just went and bought a set of Mitsubishi Colt 16" wheels fitted with 205/45/16 tyres and as Rover above states the stud pattern is correct the Cntr bore is 1mm bigger so no worries there they from a 2010 colt and they are 6.5 x 16 the holes are fitted with steel collars so the existing nuts worked Ok
I went for the 16s over 17s as ive just sold my 2018 Civic that had 225/35/19s and the ride quality was dreadful with that low profile tryes
Ill replace the 205/45/16 tyres with some 215/50/16 or 205/55/16s when they are out and referb the alloys at the same time
Rob
I just fitted some new alloys 7x17 4x114.3 et 40 shod with 215/40/17s and they look superb when the tyres wear out i think ill go for 215/50/17 jutt to givi it a bit more side wall
