Hi
Early days, but thinking about using an NV200 van as a base vehicle for an impossible conversion. Want 2 birth and all the toys in the miniscule base.
Anyway, can anyone recommend supplier for install/fit pop-top roof; install/fit a rock n roll bed (custom size, nearer 1.6-1.7 max length to enable loo to be used at night); and to supply/fit the side windows?
Also does anyone have exact plan of the rear area for full 3d dimensions eg the load length is 2m but is that back to seat? and is there more if seat forward? Sizes of rear panel excl doors etc
Thanks

Thanks, I was aware of cccampers but not Travelodge, I can't find them googling?

I will email the people I know of, as the prices may/may not include finishing etc.

My mistake with pop top its drivelodge not travel lodge. £2100 for poptop in white with three lights and carpet line.
Cccampers are bringing out a swivel seat for the passengers seat that also slides once swiveled all the way up to the table. This isc£320 fitted.

Thanks for the info above.
We've got to decide if we want a pop top or keep it low roof.... Benefits with either, just got to map to our needs.

Cheers for info re swivel seat.

Its early days for us, and a few people I've emailed about bed sizes wont give info on email :( And that is speculative questions on what is possible - e.g. crash approved rock n roll bed that is narrower and shorter. But then, I guess still need to comply with DVLA minimum bed length though guess that could be a temporary extension. Until I get my hands on a van and commit - its hard to know what is doable or not!

Accessing the loo with bed down is a must-have requirement.

The load space is over 2m so length of bed is not a problem. Most of the bed suppliers can make the bed narrower by shortening the boards and upholstery so the tested frame is not affected.
I think best widthbfor bed is between 105 and 110 cm. This gives enough space to fit a fridge in the side cupboards if you choose the right fridge.

have you looked at Sussexcampervans website re campercar
Yes, and been to see them, but appeared more interested in selling a van than helping with particular bits. Not overly impressed with build or the conversation we had to be honest.

Are you think of converting a van you already own?

No but yes.

We will be spec'ing and buying a brand new van from Nissan. Spent the morning at the friendly dealer. So don't own one yet, but will buy new and convert immediately but slowly ish.

Expect a long wait if you are buying a new van. We order ours in July. It was meant to be here in October. Just been told Nissan is now only shipping euro 6 engines so our van will not arrive until January earliest.?

If I wait to January then the van I get will be euro 6. Because I already had paid my deposit it will not cost me any more than the euro 5 van that I should have got.
The dealer was unable to tell me which of the three different ways that it is able to get euro 6 status.
