Hello !
I recently swapped the headlight bulbs on my NV200 for some xenon bulbs, which are much better for night driving. After the swap though, whenever I turn the headlights on, the "check engine" light comes on. If I turn the lights off and depress the brake, the light turns off.
I plugged in an OBD and the only fault code was a P0504. I swapped out the brake pedal switch for a new one as a precaution, but it still happens. As a debugging step l've also tried plugging in two "warning eliminator" LED capacitors on the headlight bulbs, but the same thing happens.
I don't want to go back to the dim old bulbs if I can help it. Has anyone come across this problem before ?
