Recently purchased a 2013 NV200. I test drove about 3 before buying this one, having never driven a car with a CVT they all seemed to be slipping (to me)the one I bought is whining as well. Is this normal for CVTs?
108,000 miles
Would a fluid change help or make things worse?
THANKS!

I'm late to the party. These aren't like old school automatics. Cvt's need clean fluid. Changing it won't hurt anything. If you live where the roads are sanded(graveled) in the winter keep an eye on the transmission fluid cooler down behind the bumper down low on the rh side. I had one get pelted bad enough it sprung a leak. I stuck some expanded metal behind the lower grille and that seemed to prevent that from happening again.
