Im working on finding the right deal on a NV200. I think I have found it at a dealer about 265 miles from me. One is a 2013 sv model white with black bumpers. It has the tech package and all the steering wheel controls for 22,808.04 out the door with no DP. The other is a v model with stock radio and no steering wheel controls for 20,901.75 with no dp. Now thats a 1906.29 dollar difference. Other then that they are both the same van. Both will come with the Adrian steel package. For about 500-700 I can get the Pioneer app radio or a double din dvd player with navigation. Most of my work driving is in the city and nothing over 55. Keep in mind Im a new business. The car payment is only about 30 dollar difference. So I guess my question is, is the factory tech package worth it?

Sorry man I'm not much help... Our (canada) models must be different!

Sv vs S in canada=

Body color bumpers
Body color door handles and mirrors
Silver painted grille
6 d rings
Rear cargo floor mat
Keyless entry
Power door locks
Extra 12v outlet in rear
Security system with alarm
Wheel covers

I think that is all

Cruise control and wheel controls are standard up here!

Weird

Where are you from?
I guess you'll have to post that!

I believe the tech package in the US is an additional $950 on either the S or SV models.

The SV gives you body colored mirrors and door handles, chrome grille, cruise control with steering controls (Except for tech package which is separate and includes another set of buttons on steering wheel), wheel covers and a 12v outlet behind the center console. (pretty much useless if you have a partition.)

The $190 optional appearance package gives you painted bumpers, chrome grille and wheel covers over black 15" rims. This is only if you order the "S" model.

The Tech package includes a navigation unit with bluetooth handsfree phone, Nissan Connect, POI's by Google and a USB connection for your phone/iPod.

I had the dealer ditch the wheel covers and black rims on mine in favor of the plain silver wheels. I added chrome gorilla lug nuts and voila!, Looks much nicer in my opinion over plastic covers. There was no charge to me for the swap. Wheels are the same size either way.

Congratulations!
Either way, all they do on the bumpers is spray over the texture. It's bogus in my book. You could have a shop do the same thing for the same money if you wanted to. The gloss isn't as smooth as the remainder of the body.

I actually like the navigation unit. Fairly easy to use. One thing I don't like is the fact when you are driving, you can't add destinations manually on the screen. You need to use the voice command button on the steering wheel and go through voice prompted commands until you get what you want. That is my only gripe about the system.

Also, make sure they throw in the rubber floor mats. That crappy felt for carpet will not hold up more than a couple of weeks.

I've got no issues with it. Works fine with the windows up and even partly down on the highway. My customers have heard me fine so far. There are two volume controls on the radio. One for the speakerphone and another for the audio. They each work independently. It's a nice feature. I know there have been issues with the non-screened standard radio with the bluetooth. That is a different unit altogether.

I'm about 3700 miles. Only issues was a non working third brake light and a small leak from the transmission that they say was just due to overfilling at the factory. It's been leak free since. I wish they offered a manual transmission and perhaps the diesel engine.
The ride is nice and so far no squeaks or rattles.

Racks are from an eBay seller called "Vantech" out of Brooklyn NY. Paid about $160 delivered. It is of excellent quality. I ordered the aluminum (Bare silver) racks. The white or black will get scratched up from use. They have ratcheting straps and other hardware as options. You do get a little wind noise with the racks. I really don't mind as the van is fairly quiet and the radio is always in use.

Speaking of radio, another of my gripes is audio quality. There is good bass out of the stock speakers but nothing in the high range. I installed a set of JBL tweeters which helped immensely. The dealer's service advisor thought I changed the head unit when he heard the difference on a service visit.
I tried replacing the speakers with 3 ways from Pioneer, however the bass was lost. Whatever you decide to do if anything, make sure you keep the impedance at 2 ohms on whatever speaker/tweeters you get.

I placed them a little lower than where David (Mudflap) installed his. My take away was that I didn't want the high frequencies of the sound to be prominent to my head. I found this location to be perfect for my use.

I also installed a Rearview monitor with camera in the third brake light. (See other thread in "How To" category for some more info. There is also a dash cam mounted up high on the passenger side that is also powered up via ignition key. All wiring is hidden and wired direct.

And finally, I added a ScanGauge to watch parameters such as volts, and temperature. It is doubleside taped on to the dash. No holes cut.

Tweeters are wired direct to speakers and include their own crossovers in the wiring.

All shelving was done at a local upfitter using Adrian steel products. I paid a little into it to get what I wanted. ($1500) There are bins, drawers and doors over anything that was open.

Well, it is a cvt. if they sent out a young kid to get gas, his impression would be that the transmission is slipping...
Either way, find out what they mean by "acting up"
