Hi All,

I'm about to become the proud owner of a 5 seat Combi, which is going to be used as a bike van. Rather than have a full conversion, I'm looking to fit a kitchen pod in the rear boot area along one side of the van, which would still allow me to get my bike in.

Has anyone gone down the part conversion, ie day van type route? Currently looking for some inspiration!

Thanks

Here's the setup I built for mine--collapsed it's about 47 x 47" inches. With the front pulled out, it's a 6' bed. Rear has two drawer slides, one for the cooler, one for the stove and water. The water/stove module can be removed, and put on a picnic table or wherever. No sink--we just set up the water jug over a dishpan.

It slides in between the wheel wells and attaches with a couple bolts with plastic handles to brackets I bolted to the floor.

It's taller than I'd like, just to fit the size cooler we wanted. I'm six feet tall, and it's not comfy to sit up in bed. But, plenty of cold beer under the bed.
