Hi, I've had a NV200 for 3 yrs which i loved but think it was a 110 bhp 1.5 dci and now changed it for 1.5 90 bhp (lease vehicles and didn't really realise )

Love the little van but the new one just seems to choke if i accelerate too fast or going up a hill, I can be bombing along pull out to overtake and pop my foot on the accelerator a little more an its like putting the brakes on, I end up easing up off the accelerator to increase speed??? its like I've choked it with too much fuel and the engine is thinking about stalling.

No lights, dealer wont even attempt to look at it unless there are lights showing?? is this normal and just the difference between a 90 bhp and 110 bhp or has anyone else had this issue and resolved it ???

thanks

Not how our 90 behaves.
Could be anything, from misbehaving turbo, fuel filter/blockage/pump pressure, MAP sensor, stuck EGR...…
All I can say is find another dealer! Maybe do a journey with a passenger and video it happening.
If owned, then I'd sit at the dealer shouting and screaming lol
If leased, no idea.

Good luck
