Ford currently offers the Taurus as it's police car. It's available with a normally-aspirated V6 or a twin turbo Ecoboost V6 and either front wheel drive or all wheel drive. Dodge offers the Charger with either a V6 or V8, and GM currently offers the Caprice PPV, which is an Australian import with rear wheel drive and either a V6 or V8 engine it's very similar to the old Pontiac G8/GTO
Taxis will continue to use Crown Vics for the foreseeable future, since they rarely bought new ones anyway, and spare parts will remain cheap and plentiful for years. New York will start to roll out the new Nissan taxi based on the NV200 next year though bmw icom next.
