rear passenger side tyre wearing on out side edge had 4 wheel alignment done and showing within spec but opposite side out of spec yet no wear issues on that side.
anybody had similar problems?

Yes indeed

I have exactly the same problem on a 2014 tracking within spec tyres gone by 16K fronts still legal at 25K .
raise a complaint with Nissan don't expect any support though.

I am rotating them every 4k so far so good only have 12k on them .but thanks foe the heads up

redcap, i spoke to nissan in 2015 and they said there is no problems with the vans they are aware of, i have tired different tyres, heavier load rating and have just looked yesterday and have worn out again since October last year so thats 4 months and i reckon there is a month maybe 2 at a push before they are gone!
