Hi,

First time posting here. I just bought a 2016 NV200 S and it came with the basic CD Player. I wanted to know if anyone has upgraded to the SV OEM radio head unit and if it's even possible. I have attached the files of the unit I have and the one I am thinking of getting. One of them is the CD player unit and the other one is the Connect 2 unit. I wanted to know if the connections (Steering wheel control, antenna, main connection) will work with the Connect 2 unit. If there are harness or cables I need to buy please advise. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

It's very easy to upgrade to after double din aftermarket. I am very pleased with my Joying Android head unit, and I have a second battery installed for constant wifi connection. I highly recommend android based head units where you can get Google maps, Torque, and all sorts of apps. Never need to take out your phone in the car again.

The main harness connection is just like any other car, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VXED54/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The third harness is CAN-bus, with blue wires, just leave it off.

To access it, pry open the gear shift panel from the bottom. And then you should be able to get an edge to pop open the cover surrounding the head unit. Then it's just 4 screws to take the head unit out.

Did you ever get your new unit installed?
I'm trying (with difficulties) to do the same thing.
Thanks

I'm trying to install an aftermarket radio in my 2013 NV200 and running into issues, with the wiring harness from metra (70-7552) there is a wire labelled for Subaru only, that is the ground wire? How should I ground the radio otherwise? I've read some suggestions that say that it can be grounded through the antenna? Thanks for the help!
