I’d like to put a tow bar with a 2”receiver on the NV200 but have been advised that it is too low and will likely cause the bar or bike rack to scrape the ground (presumably on driveway exits etc).
Does anyone have any experience to suggest this is a real problem? The aim is to put a Yakima swinging bike rack on.

It's not any lower than the average passenger car. Plenty of people have hitches on cars to do exactly what you're doing.

The NV200 ones I've seen tuck right up under the bumper. Yes, it can scrape a weirdly steep driveway entrance, but people work around that. Unless there's a situation where you have to negotiate one every day at your house, it's not that big a deal. Keep the hitch or rack off it if you're not using it, so you don't have to be careful everywhere.
