Work in rainy Pacific NW Washington State. Need to build an exterior rain shield that would stay on rooftop while driving and lock down but when stopped to perform work out the back doors must have a dry area so would offer rain protection and could rest on tops of back doors. Has anyone seen a breadbox slide out approach to solving this problem? Awnings that need poles will not work as we are in parking lot areas of stores. A drape will not work as we have extinguisher powder inside that must be kept very dry so no bringing inside a rain drape that would introduce moisture and mold to NV200 interior. Some type of lightweight panel that could slide out of a protective rooftop mounted box going over the back doors about 4ft would be ideal but I can find nothing close to this. Side awnings will not work. Will need multiple slide outs daily in rainy weather. Suggestions or out-of-the-box builders would be most appreciated.
