hi guys, I'm new to the site so any help would be great, I own a 60plate NV200, broke down today, AA says the BCM unit has gone down, any ideas?

I bougt a new (67 plate) Nv2300 a month ago and it wouldn't start on two occasions. Aslo the alarm went off several times durign night and day. RAC call-out and told battery only performing 40%. Suggested a new one. This could alo be reason for alarm going of-voltage drop. Contacted dealers and they re-tested and fitted a new battery. During investgation process I was told by another dealership that there was a known issue with the control unit and several had to be taken out and sent back to the manufactures to be re tested and then replaced. Is this the sanme as the BCM?
