I was thinking about buying a NV200 for making into a camper van. Just wanted to see from real owners if these are relatively a reliable base to start on? I probably will be driving it a lot and don't really want to have a lot of problems on the road. What do you guys think? Thanks!

I bought my 2015 NV200s new in Jan 2016. Currently have 57,000 miles on it. It's my daily driver on an approximate 90 mile daily commute. Average mpg about 26+ . The van has been very reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. Tires suck, see my post from yesterday regarding new tires. I did not buy with the intention of converting to a camper but I do plan on doing a conversion once I get some of my other projects finished. Holler if you have any specific questions.

About 30,000km on my NV200 and yes it's been reliable. Just regular oil and filter changes.

Looking for different tire options is challenging, there's not much choice in the stock 185/60/15 size. May have to go +1 size for more choices.

My 2015 NV200 was just retired from our fleet after 3 1/2 years 100000km/65000 miles.

It was a work van, loaded to right near the GVWR from day one. All work, all hard city miles.

It was completely trashed and worn out. We dumped our entire NV200 van fleet (20vans) , back to Dodge Caravans.

I hated this van from day one and it is not designed for hard commercial use.
It's designed to drive Grandma back and forth to bingo.

On the other point, there are several tire options available now:

Reliable yes we have had ours since they were first made. 130,000 miles. Serviced every 5-7,000 miles my choice not manufacturers recommendations. Only ever done wear and tear components brakes , filters oil, bushes, and retrofitted Nissan Connect Sat Nav and Bluetooth Mic. Have replaced the starter motor. Pulls well the earlier models benefited from having no DPF !

Relocated the Cigarette Lighter to be positioned next to the Gear Stick and the AUX / USB to be in the Cigarette Lighter Position.
