I live in the province of Québec, Canada where winter tires are imposed by law. I have two complete sets of OEM rims, one with the OEM 4-season tires and the other with "cargo-rated" 6-ply winter tires. Both tire sets are equipped with TPMS sensors.

The dealer is charging me $50 to reset the TPMS light inside my dashboard (I do my own wheel replacement and rotation). I can see and access the odometer and computer information (I don't get the "Check Tire Pressure" message) but want to get rid of the TPMS light.

Does anyone know or own an OBD II tool that will reset the TPMS light?

From my understanding the dealer is not just resetting the TPMS light, he is configuring the TPMS sensors to the TPMS module after you swap wheels and tires.

I don't know of any aftermarket OBDII scanner that will do this.

I hate any and all TPMS sensors, all I did in my van is put a small piece of black tape over the light on the dash cluster and then ignored it.
Carry a good tire pressure gauge and check your tires regularily.
