As I have the 5 year warranty I thought I'd inquire about a service plan with my local dealer.
Usual thing, you a pay monthly amount and the annual service is already paid for when you get it done.
For a 3 year plan, they want £27 a month.

How does that sound to anyone that uses a Nissan dealer for servicing?

I was offered it for £22 when I questioned how much each service actually cost.
I still didn't take them up on it.

I have found with good servicing ,oil changes, and tire rotations, tune ups, these 2.0 engines will go 300,000 easy so if you can do the basics your self .save your money
