Hi folks. I have a 2015 NV200 SV US spec with the navigation system. Occasionally, when the van is started, the radio will not turn on. There is no power to the radio, navigation or backup camera. If I turn the van off and restart it the radio comes back on although I had to do that two times in a row today.

Has anyone had this issue or any ideas on what the problem might be? I'm going to schedule it for service, but being an intermittent problem that is hard to duplicate it would be nice to give the dealer a possible direction.

Update: The dealer spent 2 hours going over the car and couldn't duplicate the problem or find any other areas that might lead to the problem. They are replacing the radio under warranty. The funny thing is that the radio (original) did the same thing on the way home when I stopped at a store and started the van when I came out.

Yes I maintain about 10 nissan nv 200s from 2017-2022 and they all have this same issue. Have had dealership replace radios and nothing was fixed. They stopped replacing them and let the manufacturer know. Have not heard back since. It's been 2 years. Going to look into this once again.

I guess we're lucky, I maintain 13 of these turds and haven't had a problem. At least not that I've been told about lol. The only shot in the dark I could suggest would be make sure all the fuses are seated properly. We have some Mitsubishi's that had the radio fuse falling out of them. There's a fuse holder that's supposed to be depressed when they do the pdi but it's usually done poorly by some min wage kid. Not sure if it's the same with the Nissans or not. I did have a 2018 that had random loss of throttle. It ended up requiring an entire underhood wiring harness that was covered under good faith since it was an intermittent problem since before the van even left the dealer lot. These things are poorly assembled in Mexico. I've found missing bolts and poorly routed wiring harnesses on most of our vans. Thankfully they quit building them last year.

Correct. At least for North America. Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo Van | Nissan USA
Nissan is ending production of its commercial vans
It's crazy, people out here want $10k more for a used Nv200 that what we paid for a new one a couple years ago. Thanks covid.
