Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone is aware of whether the following will fit a NV200?

I can see that you can get a fitting kit that will fit the likes of the VW Transporter and from watching a video it looks like it hooks around the tailgate which could be replicated on the NV200 but its a lot of money to test the theory out.

I gave in and ordered this and the VW T5 fitting kit and will report back to let you know if they fit.

Well after having the rack for a while we finally got round to firing and testing it is made of the Thule 973 backpack rack and number 18 fitting kit seems to be a good strong fit

So far a week or so on and it's been spot on and the bike wheels just poke out a little bit on each side, the only problem I have found so far is the weight of the rack is pretty heavy so the slightest of winds causes it to drop and close.
I am going to measure up and replace the gas struts with stronger ones.

Yeah still satisfied with the rack, I have found a UK company who said they can re-gas them or provide stronger ones for around £75 but haven’t tested them yet as we rarely open the rear.

Hi, looks good. I've been trying to get a bike rack solution for the barn door version, but no luck at all. Every option has proven to involve drilling the back door, and there is no Thule, Fiamma or other manufacturer that has something. Thinking about whether it is best to change the barn door over to a tailgate - does anyone know if this is possible?

Does anyone carry bikes on a Roof (BIKE) Rack such as the Thule ProRide Twin Pack 591 Bicycle Carrier www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003SZ7GMY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 you can get the foot pack (Thule 751 Fixpoint XT Rapid System Foot Pack For Cars With Built-In Fixpoints) for the NV200.

Or would you then consider the load is then standing too high? This could possibly take two bikes and a slim Roof box??

Thoughts? Pics if you have one?

Thanks! I also fitted the 973/18 without difficulties to my Evalia, thanks to your confirmation.

May I ask if you have any information on that gas spring upgrade? I'd love to order stronger struts for my tailgate. It doesn't stay open at all with the rack on.
